Joseph Bartolotta
Senior Managing Director, R & M Real Estate Group
Joe is Senior Managing Director of a family owned and operated real estate development and management company – R&M Real Estate Group (R&M). R&M is a Builder/Developer with deep community ties and a commitment to quality and integrity in commercial development.
As part of the R&M team, Joe’s responsibilities include: evaluating investment opportunities; securing grant incentives and financing; coordinating preconstruction planning and design; marketing, leasing and management of completed projects.
Since joining R&M Real Estate Group in 2009, Joe and his partners have renovated over 20 commercial and mixed-use structures in downtown Auburn placing into service numerous luxury loft apartment complexes and commercial venues, including:

Prior to joining R&M Real Estate Group, Joe was a Senior Associate with Gilberti Stinziano Heintz & Smith, P.C., in Syracuse, New York where his practice focused on zoning and land use, right-to-build and business law.
Joe earned a Bachelor’s degree at the University of NY at Albany and graduated, Cum Laude, with a Juris Doctorate from Michigan State University College of Law. Prior to attending law school, he worked in the office of NY State Senator Michael Nozzolio in Albany, serving as Legislative Director.
Joe is an active member of the Auburn community, currently serving as board member for:

He is also a member of the New York State and Cayuga County Bar Associations. Joe resides in Auburn with his wife Katherine and their two children Rosalia and Angelia.
