At an upcoming event sponsored by Lyons National Bank (LNB), young entrepreneurs in the Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) YEA! program will present their business ideas to members of the Investor Panel this coming Thursday, March 21st from 5:30 P.M. – 7:30 P.M. on the FLCC campus.

The Investor Panel program provides students with a real life opportunity to make their business concept become reality.  In the YEA! program, students learn how to write business plans, prepare presentations and pitch their ideas to investors, obtain financial backing, register their businesses and organizations, develop marketing plans and materials, prepare for trade shows and how to sell their products and services. The FLCC YEA! Program is coordinated by Program Manager LaToya Collins.

“LOCATE Finger Lakes is grateful to Bob Schick, Chairman of the Board of  Lyons National Bank (LNB) and Dr. Robert Nye, President of Finger Lakes Community College (FLCC) for sponsoring the YEA! program,” said LOCATE Finger Lakes Board Chairman and former New York State Senator Mike Nozzolio, who will serve as Emcee for the event.

The event will take place from 5:30 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. and is sponsored by LOCATE Finger Lakes and Lyons National Bank (LNB).  It will take place in the auditorium on the 2nd floor of the Student Center in the main campus building in Canandaigua.

Information on the FLCC Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) 2019-20 program will be available that evening.

The event is free and open to the public.  Free parking is available.
